[Touching] A Place for Us

As the clutch of Astralath and Haloneth harden enough to safely
touch, Candidates are welcome to interact with the eggs and put
forth some feelers for both Candidate and dragonet alike. Will
you meet your bonded here? Under the watchful eyes of the
clutchparents and the Candidatemaster, you are free to see!
(Candidates may touch one egg at a time. Please make the egg
your Candidate touches bold to make it easier to track. Have
fun!)

Theron looked around carefully, clearly nervous as he took in
the view of all the eggs before him. Mostly he had decided to
come in hopes it would soothe his fears as maybe this would give
him some sense of what the hatching would be like. As a few
others seemed to go and pick different eggs to touch, he
realized he should really figure out which he wanted to start
with.
'Well... I guess there isn't a wrong choice... Just pick one to
start with already.' The candidate scolded himself internally
before taking another look, his eyes landing on a soft blue egg
with some sort of yellow pattern on it. Catching his interest,
Theon moved closer to get a better look and realized that the
pale yellow formed a flower on the egg. It wasn't what he
expected, but it was rather pretty. One more glance around makes
him finally decide to reach out his hand and rest it lightly on
the Lasting Legacy egg. What was the worst that could happen?

Candidate Meteion - Touching The Dedicated Warrior
Meteion felt a bit shy as she looked at the eggs. Before
approaching any of them, she bowed politely to the Weyrwoman and
Weyrleader, and the first time dragon parents respectfully
before she approached her favorite in the bunch.. the one with
the moon on it. All her life, stars and night fascinated her and
she loved anything that reminded her of such, thus the choice to
touch the Dedicarted Warrior was an easy one. " Hello little
one. I am Meteion, its an honor to meet you. I hope you find
that which you seek today. I will be touching your shell now, as
I wish to know your feelings. I hope I am not disturbing you."

Anoirigan felt as though the sun were beating down upon him as
he approached the clutch, observing each and every egg in turn.
All were stunning to look at. Each and every last one.
I wonder if I'll find mine... He pondered to himself, hesitating
for a moment. I want to take this opportunity as it presents
itself to me... I can't ruin this for myself...
His hesitation over, his hand graced the surface of the
Morning's Dawn egg, his beautiful eyes slipping shut as he spoke
mentally, both to himself and to the hatchling within.
Hello there, little one. My name is Anoirigan. I'm only going to
touch your egg, so that you may sense my heart. No matter who it
is that you Impress to, I want you to first sense me. I hope
that your hatching goes smoothly, and I hope that you find me
worthy of you.

The Lasting Legacy felt very calculative and cautious under
Theon's palm, unwelcoming and even hostile. Looks like you
caught it at a bad time!
The Dedicated Warrior felt pleased to meet a new person,
radiating friendliness and warm welcome. Despite this, a sense
of wariness underlies the greeting, as though analyzing Meteion.
The Morning's Dawn felt as warm as laughter or the rays of dawn
for which it was named, pressing gentle greetings and tones of
welcome upon Anoirigan.

Judiana felt her hands shake slightly as she approached the
eggs. All of them were delightful to the eye, very pleasing. But
one in particular stood out. It was so small, yet she had the
utmost faith that it would hatch and thrive.
The Confident Piccolo.
Approaching the tiny egg, she placed a gentle hand upon its
surface. Her voice was as tender as a breeze as she spoke to the
hatchling within its temporary home of shell and darkness. Hello
there, little one. I am Judiana. I'm here to touch your egg.
Please, judge my heart. View my soul. And should you find me to
your preference, I do hope you'll choose me. I may not be
perfect, but I will be as good to you, as I can. If you'll have
me.
