APPEARANCE:
Meteion is a petite girl, small of frame and average to lower
end on height. She has large and bright green eyes that are
framed by long lashes, almost giving her a doll like appearance.
Her face is heart shaped, her cheeks often rosy. Her nose is a
bit on the wider side and she is slightly self conscious about
it. Her lips are full and often curved into the seemingly
permanent smile she carries. Her hair is long, to her mid back,
thick as wool, dark as squid ink and has large almost doll like
curls to it.
She often wears her hair pulled back in a scarf or in a messy
bun to get it out of the way when engaging in daily tasks. Her
body shape is slender, her breasts are small and she is very
shifty about that fact, its often a sore subject, as she does
not have enough to hardly even worry about them getting in the
way of anything. She loves the color blue and its in everything
she wears and often she is seen with a flower crown upon her
head or a flower tucked behind an ear.
[center]PERSONALITY[/center]
PERSONALITY:
Meteion is a very sweet, kind and curious girl, albeit a bit on
the shy side. She has a natural curiosity and love of nature,
favoring flowers of all things. A nurturing sort, she will reach
out to anyone and has a desire to soothe even the meanest of
souls, though at times its lead to her detriment. She
desperately wants to be accepted as a part of a group and have
friends and is not above pretending to be or think something she
really is not/does not believe in or feel. This trait caused her
a great deal of pain in Benden, as someone called her two faced
and it caused a rift for her and it hurt her heart and made her
feel even more isolated.
Despite the change of scenery and the chance for a new start,
she often fights this old urge to mold herself to whatever is
the accepted "normal" and will make her friends. Despite that
trait, she is a woman who wants to soothe the pains of all and
has a natural knack to be able to cheer others up and offer what
she can to them. She feels her emotions very intensely and as
such, can cause intense reactions, be they happy or detrimental
and her anger, when sparked, is cold, calculating and vicious.
Her desire to have a dragon caused her to chose the candidate
life instead of the Mindhealer one, though she still tries to
soothe the minds of her fellows, because.. she just wants to
know their thoughts.. share their feelings.... be their friend.

HISTORY:
Meteion was born the eldest by 10 minutes of a pair of twins,
her sister Hermetica being born 10 minutes after her. While she
and her sister were identical, their personalities were polar
opposites. Meteion was always a sweet and curious child, with a
desire to explore, make friends and be a part of something
wonderful. Despite losing her mother at a very young age, she
hardly remembers her, only the impact it had on her father. Her
father Hermes, seemed consumed with grief and his work, often
the children were left in the care of others and he only showed
a cursory interest in them.
Despite the emotional neglect, she still grew up to be wildly
affectionate and almost in a cutesy and girly way, while her
twin was withdrawn, prone to anger and had a negative attitude
about most things. When she was 12 years old, her father
vanished from her life and she and her sister were left without
family and soon their home. But that did not last long, as when
she encountered Glenna, a older woman, she and Hermetica were
suddenly taken in and she bonded swiftly to her new mother
figure, having desired long for someone to want her around and
care for her.
Her 14th turnday seen her gifted with a flit egg from Glenna
that hatched into a spirited little blue she named Starbird.
This became her best of friends and she went everywhere with
her. When she was old enough, she came to Glenna and expressed
her desire to become a rider. After a serious talk about what
that would mean and the responsibilities with it, she was sent
off on her way and her twin was not long behind her. They stood
a couple of hatchings with disappointment.
Her desire to fit in and make friends led her to fall into a
group of bullies for a while and her pretending to be like them
came crashing on her head when they started picking on another
candidate that had a speech issue. This made her heart hurt and
she refused to participate and her true nature was unveiled and
she was called fake and two faced. Even the girl she refused to
pick on had turned on her. Miserable and depressed, she went
back to her room and sobbed into her pillow.
How she wished she could turn back time and pretend this never
happened. But as fate would have it, a gold dragon hatched and
impressed to a man! This threw Benden into an uproar and she
witnessed the mistreatment of the newly gold weyrling pair and
it upset her. Just because they were different.. they deserved
better than this and the attitude shown to them sickened the
young candidate.
So when Glenna had come to the girls and expressed she was
planning to leave Benden, neither twin hesitated and went with
her. Standing at Westwind's first clutches, she did not impress
but there is a gold clutch coming.. and with it.. a chance for
her to impress.. would this be the moment she would find her
dragon friend?

sweet, a real cinnamon roll that just wants to have friends and
make people around her happy and help defend her new home weyr
alongside a (hopefully kind) dragon!
What color(s) does your character want?: Any, friendship sees no
color!
Would this Candidate like to be eligible for gold?: No, she does
not see herself as worthy.
Does your character have any personality preferences?: Kind and
friend-shaped is all she needs!

Being bonded to a cruel or unfriendly dragon, her dragon and she
not getting along.

social type personality, though if you want to yeet a buttnugget
her direction, I won't stop you.

level is acceptable/what should be avoided?: Yes, but no loss of
limbs or hurting her eyes.

mutation/oddity?: Absolutely.

What is ABSOLUTELY NOT on the table for your Candidate?: Death,
murderhobo personality in a dragon and any injury or attack on

APPEARANCE:
This flit is definitely a blue. He resembled a sky filled with
stars and thus why he was named Starbird. His hide is a darker
blue with a splash of lighter shades of blue and powder blue
markings that resemble stars or perhaps just glitters on the
surface of water on a starry day, depending on the
interpretation.

PERSONALITY:
Starbird is high energy, high curiosity that is bundled with
chaos of a flit. He tends to zoom about and bombards his human
with an array of mental images of the most random things.. often
flowers because they smell delightful! He loves being close to
Meteion and will follow her everywhere, even trying to go places
he is not allowed, because he has to protect her!
