-Y-you've heard of me?
Naomi was surprised, as she could not recall doing anything
noteworthy. Sure, she had been partaking in some less than legal
activities that could have gone smoother. Maybe it was that
thing last fall.. or the incident with the bandits.. or maybe
the...
She bit the inside of her cheek hard to regain some focus.
Raising a couple of undead was not something that should get her
on their radar.. Right?
Her train of thought was cut short when Dom came closer and she
could not help but admire his smooth walk and mesmerising eyes.
Would he perhaps keep them if he was raised? Perhaps she would
get to find out?
Naomi gave him a smirk, trying to look more confident than she
felt. If he trusted Grisla further than he could throw him he
could go right on ahead. Grisla did, usually, have trustworthy
intel, true. But there was always something off. Oh well,
wouldn't hurt to at least take a look. If nothing else she could
maybe get something in the process...
-I didn't hear a "no" either, so I guess I'll see you two
tonight, don't be late.
Without waiting for any objections, she winked at them and
stepped out of the alley, hurrying down the street and hoping
that they wouldn't have time to object if she was too far away.

Dominic didn't bother telling her he'd heard her name in passing
surrounding some mess with a goblin a while back since the
information was trivial. As for Blue she probably didn't even
remember where she'd heard about her as she was far too curious
to retain any kind of dull information in her little body. And
this was in all honesty, dull.
A new scowl appeared as she reminded him to just snap no to
people when they tried to highjack his missions in the future.
He was just about to do so but then she scurried off before he
opened his mouth. He briefly considered shouting after her but
figured it wasn't worth it.
Blue flicked her hair back over shoulder before soaring up in
front of Dom.
- I like her.
- I figured.
- Is it really that bad if she joins us?
Dom sighed and dragged a hand through his black hair.
- I don't think we'll get much of a say in this. She's not used
to hearing the word no.
Blue giggled at that before giving him a mischeavous grin.
- If you play it nice you might get to f*ck her later. If you're
really nice you might not even have to pay.
He cocked an eyebrow at her but gave her a playful grin.
- Guess we'll find out.
With that they left the alley to head towards the mansion so
Blue could do a thorough sweep before infiltrating the next
night if all was quiet enough.

The sun had already started climbing high in the sky when Naomi
stumbled back to the little room she had rented to get at least
a few hours of sleep before it was time to pay a visit to the
Thornwall estate. She was pleased with her night's work, not
only had she managed to get in on a possibly very high paying
job, but she had also both managed to procure a hand cart as
well as two fresh volunteers to pull it. No way in all the
realms that she would carry anything by herself when she had the
means to get someone else to do it for her. They wouldn't even
complain when she later would tell them to take everything back
to her cottage.
As dusk settled in Naomi was still trying to rub the sleep from
her eyes as the cart rumbled closer to the massive mansion. Even
though she had been up all night, sleep had not easily found
her, as the memory of a pair of mesmerising eyes and a handsome
face had kept interfering.
Figuring as the main entrance usually was a no-go, she
instructed her volunteers to pull over to the side to try and
find a more subtle way inside as well as her newfound
companions.

It haden't taken too long to get to the massive estate and
finding a good hidingspot. Dominic was more than used to sitting
back quietly to wait for the report from Blue after she'd done a
thorough investigation. After waiting for hours the sun started
to set and he started stretching to get his body back in
business before Blue got back. He'd just finished when he heard
the squeaking wheels of a cart and after careful inspection he
smothered a groan when he recognized Naomi. Watching her look
for a backway he quietly followed for a moment until her..
friends.. parked the cart and she looked ready to start climbing
the fence. Thinking about wether it would be worth it to just
watch her get caught he figured it might just ruin his own
chances for a payday and after a short prayer for strength he
stepped out of the shadows with a cold glare.
- Didn't think you'd actually be dumb enough to show.

Naomi snorted but couldn't hide a small smile, having almost
starting to believe that her handsome new acquaintance would not
show up.
- Couldn't let you carry all the heavy stuff yourself now, could
I?
She jumped out of the cart and made a small hand motion and a
small purple flame lit up in her palm. One of the volunteers let
out a hoarse, guttural moan before both volunteers instantly
turned and pulled the cart away from them until they where
hidden by the the surrounding shrubbery.
Naomi turned back to Dom, cocking her hip and crossing her arms
over her chest, completely ignoring the cart.
-What are we doing her? Shouldn't we be on the other side
looking for something shiny?

Dominic clicked his tongue, crossing his arms over his chest as
he turned his glare to the large wall that separated them from
the estate.
- I can carry everything I need and more myself..
He trailed off, his eyes shining eagerly as a small glowing dot
flew over the wall and stopped in front of him.
- They're definitly low on guards and I couldn't find the
owners. I have a way in over here.
Blue flew ahead and without even checking if Naomi followed, Dom
quickly jogged after on almost soundless feet. Blue stopped at a
spot in the wall where a small window was located about 8m off
the ground. Dom looked up at it as Blue flew up, entering the
window and a couple seconds later a slim rope came down. Dom
grabbed it to start scaling the wall but stopped after a few
steps, both feet on the wall and letting one hand drop, as he
turned to Naomi.
- Can you get up on your own?
His voice was quiet but not hard to hear as he watched her.

Naomi huffed and tried to follow as quickly and quietly as
possible, not succeeding particularly well in either.
Looking up at him, she cursed under her breath. Dear deity was
he high up. And he wasn't even halfway to the top!
Feeling a stone settling in her stomach she gingerly grabbed the
rope, giving it a half hearted tug. Damn. Couldn't they have
found a forgotten tunnel or cellar or something that didn't need
her to leave the ground instead?
Biting back more curses she gave him a quick nod. She could do
it but would hate absolutely every second of it.
After painstakingly making it up the rope, having almost slipped
twice, she finally had her feet on solid ground again. Not
wanting to look up at Doms probably smug grin at her pathetic
attempt at scaling the wall, she fixed her eyes on the floor and
dug her nails into her palms until her knuckles turned white,
willing her hands to stop shaking and her heart to stop beating
out of her chest.
Isaac yawned and did a big strech in the chair he had fallen
asleep in. He absent-mindedly dragged a hand through his black,
curly hair while looking around, not really sure about where in
the big estate he had fallen asleep. He really shouldn't keep
asking the staff to stock up on good wine, but each time he
wanted a little taste, all the good tasting stuff was gone so
what was he supposed to do? He couldn't drink the stuff that
tasted like goblin piss so really his hands where tied here.
After looking around a little, failing to orient him self from
the look of the room alone, he made his way out of what he
realised was of one of the many empty rooms of the estate that
his parents had insisted that he stay at. Why that was the case
he still had to figure out, but he and the few servants and
guards had gotten along somewhat. The old butler had taken some
time to get used to. Isaac still couldn't figure out why the old
geezer always asked him about things that regarded the estate.
Such as if they should order this or that, if they should move
something or order a thing that was "in season" what ever that
ment, and after three days of them just staring at eachother the
old man seemed to think better of it and simply reported what
had been done, which in Isaacs mind was so much more efficient.
After making his way to the room he had been assigned when he
got there he looked out the massive window, was it nightfall
already? Wine really did make the time pass quickly. After
donning a casual outfit of black pants and a white shirt that
would have his poor mother fainting and calling him a slightly
better dressed peasant, he roamed towards the kitchen to find
something to snack on, not being able to shake the feeling that
something was off.

Dom had not expected Naomi to actually attempt the climb. Even
less to actually make it to the top. Perhaps she wouldn't be a
big problem after all. Especially since she wasn't even
breathing that hard. If Blue would be told to do the same thing
she'd probably not make it much further than off the ground and
that would be it.
Returning his focus to the job he gathered the rope, putting it
in a pocket before following Blue through the corridor to a
staircase that led down. she quickly got them out of the wall
and led them towards the main estate. Dom always kept to the
shadows, moving fluently, quietly, as if it was the natural way
to do so. Every time they met a guard he'd simply freeze in
place and somehow he wasn't spotted, before moving along. The
way into the estate however was another climb up to a balcony
and Blue didn't take the rope this time. Dom studied the big
stones for a moment then simply started climbing, his fingers
skillfully finding all the holes to hold onto the wall. When
he'd made it up he crouched on the balcony railing, looking
inside the dark room before turning and looking down at Naomi.
He fished out the rope as he stood, still on the railing and
dropped it down to her. He pointed down to the railing before at
her, making a motion that she should climb before he tied it
securly. She'd handled doing the wall just fine but rockclimbing
would be hard with her delicate hands.

Naomi wanted to scream as Dom scaled the wall like it was
nothing but settled on glaring at him in disbelief. It was a
smooth wall, how was he doing that!? And was he expecting her to
do the same?! No way in a lifetime she'd manage to pull that
off.
The relief she felt of not having to actually scale the wall as
he lowered the rope was great but short lived, as she would
still have to manage to get up to the balcony somehow. Wanting
to curse Dom but only managing a small whimper, she grabbed the
rope and gave it a tug. Praying to anything that would listen to
not be spotted and cursing the rest, she raccooned her way up
the rope, the fear of falling outweighing the strain.
As soon as she reached the balcony she scrambled over it and as
far away from it as she could without merging with the wall.
She could feel her heart hammering against her chest but she had
made it! After gathering herself for a minute she stood up on
shaky legs and glanced towards the balcony doors. Carefully
trying the door handle she found it unlocked and the door
silently swung open. Glancing back at Dom, a question evident on
her face, as if to ask what kind of idiot left their door
unlocked if they were not at home.

Dom was ready to catch Naomi as she reached the balcony but
decided against it as she struggled her way over like a toddler
trying to climb up on a chair. He'd gotten down from the railing
and was crouching next to it as he watched her practically glue
herself to the wall, clearly wound up. She wasn't afraid of
hights was she? Still thinking about that he gave her a deadpan
look when she tried the door. She clearly forgot to use her
brain there as he nodded to Blue, who casually flew up to it and
in through the keyhole as if demonstrating how the door was
unlocked. He shook his head before silently gliding into the
room after Naomi, getting past her and quickly making his way to
the door leading out of the room, listening intently.
Blue dimmed her light completely before flying through the
keyhole and taking a look around. When she deemed it safe nough
she went back to get them, leading them through the corridors
towards a big set of stairs to get them down to the bottom floor
and towards the showing room where most interesting valuables
were located so the owners could show them off to their
visitors. Now and then a guard appeared but Dom skillfully had
Naomi moved out of the way before she even could react to them
most of the time, as if he was more than used to having to make
sure not only he himself wasn't seen, but also a rather clumsy
companion.
