Knightedevening, ShadowClan deputy, was out hunting in
ShadowClan territory. He stalked a frog, muscular shoulders
bunched as he delicately crept forward, amber eyes narrowed
against the foggy twilight.

Karma, a young she-cat, walked into the marshy territory. A
place where she wasn't familiar. She lifted her head, and
scented the air. He fur draped over her back, just barely
touching the ground, hiding her belly. Her belly was growing by
the second, filled with her love's kits. Or, kit, at least.

Knightedevening's head shot up. He smelled cat!
It didn't smell like those squirrel-chasers, ThunderClan.
It didn't smell like those fish-faces, RiverClan.
It didn't smell like those rabbit-eaters, WindClan.
It smelled.....sweet. Gentle. Warm. Kind.
He was immediately attracted.
"Hello?" The black smoke called out.

The she-cat pricked her ears. If being the mate of a BloodClan
cat taught her anything, it was always be ready for a fight. She
unsheathed her claws slightly, "Hello?" Her soft voice called
from behind a large pine tree, "Who's there?"

Knight peered around the pine. "Ello!" He purred in awestruck
amazement and amusement. "I'm Knightedevening, deputy of
ShadowClan! Who might you be?" Was his cheerful mew to the
drop-dead gorgeous she-cat in front of him.
