       What are the Capitol Games, you ask? You may want to read
       Mockingjay before you read this, if you already haven't read it,
       or you might not understand it. Let's say the rebel has just
       ended and instead of shooting our president, Alma Coin, the
       Mockinjay Katniss Everdeen has shot Snow just as she was
       supposed to, and now the vote to have one last Hunger Games with
       the Capitol children has gone through. The results are in, our
       twenty four tributes have been selected, and we fast forward to
       the final sixty seconds before the tributes enter the arena, but
       one girl, Kayla Gholius, may have the potential to survive the
       final Hunger Games in Panem.

       count the seconds left until the gong in my head. Fifty-nine,
       fifty-eight, fifty-seven. I rub my pounding temples and wait.
       Forty-four, forty-three. My eyes scan our surroundings. We're on
       a golden meadow, but patches of different terrain surround the
       grass. In one direction, all I can see is swampy marshland. In
       another, forest.
