[font=times new roman]Breathing heavily, the calico she-kit took
quick steps as she padded across the hard thunderpath. Her ears
were perked up high with caution, expecting a monster to zoom
over and crush her tiny bones. Closing her eyes, she kept
walking and, pretty much, tripped over the sidewalk. She
scrambled back onto her feet and hopped up onto the higher
platform, continuing to walk. The stench of the twolegplace
almost covered the faint scent of cats. Cats??!! The calico
smiled hopefully and darted forward, energy pouring into her
tired limbs. She was now crossing onto BloodClan
border...[/font]

Scythe, The BloodClan deputy, flicked his long tail, patrolling
the border with Lancelot, a loyal tom in his Clan, and Yuri, a
pitbull puppy that used to be named Ash.

continued to run as she grasped the scent. The calico purred as
she became even more closer to the cats scent, and soon they
were visible. Cautiously, but boldly, she crawled near them.
Though, she was still several fox lengths away.[/font]

Yuri pricked her ears, bowing down and yipping, "There cat." She
yipped, not standing till she had permission to.
Lancelot purred, turning to Yuri and patting her head, "Where?"
He watched as the dog pointed to the area the she-cat was in,
just not pointing it out exactly.
Scythe groaned slightly, "We'll come back to it later. We need
to finish the patrol first." With a nod, he walked on.

to continue walking, as if she was nothing they needed to worry
about. Of course, a young kit wasn't much of a threat, at all,
but she was still confused. Also a bit angry that they were
ignoring her. The she-kit let out a snort as she stood up and
waved her tail in the air.[/font]

Yuri stayed where she was, blinking her round brown eyes. She
flattened her large ears, knowing that if she went to
investigate, they would hurt her in some way. But there was
something out there! Without a second thought, the she-dog
darted forward, tripping over her own paws.
(Fact: Yuri means Lily in Japanese.)

it's a puppy! :D)
A small pout sat on her lip as she glared at the two cats
walking away. Wait..wasn't there some kind of small dog with
them...? Before she could finish her own thoughts, the sound of
claws tapping on the ground rung in her ears. Frightened, the
she-kit instinctively arched her back and let out a hiss seeing
the pup walk near her.[/font]

Yuri slowed to a stop in front of the kitten. She was only a bit
bigger than a regular sized dog; still growing. She put her head
to the ground, yipping quietly, "Kitty okay?" The young pup
didn't know much of the feline language. But enough to cross her
point.

calico replied with a soft squeak, but loud enough for the dog
to here. "Y-Ya....I'm o-okay..." She managed to say, the fur
standing on her back began to lean against her skin once
again.[/font]

Yuri laid down, closing her eyes slightly, showing that she
meant no harm to the little kit. Though her long tail still
wagged, she wiggled closer, whimpering quietly.
