[font=trebuchet ms]Pencilstar popped from his den and glanced
around, blinking sunlight from his emerald green eyes.
Yawning, the SkyClan leader padded softly to the fresh-kill
pile, his muscular shoulders shifting back and forth with each
step.
As the black smoke tore into a magpie, he looked up to see two
huge violet eyes staring down at him. "Ah!" He squawked, then
realized it was the kit he had found on the hunting patrol two
moons ago.
After finding her, he had washed her thoroughly, fed her, and
then named her Lupinekit, after those beautiful purple flowers.
Bookworm and Fluffyrobe came out of the warriors' den, their
fluffy cream fur ruffled and messy. The twin sisters blearily
stumbled to the fresh-kill pile where their father lay, smiling
at Lupinekit, who merrily chatted with him. [/font]

Lupinekit looked up in surprise. "Oh, hi, Marrowlining!" The
cream tabby kit squeaked, violet eye shining.
Pencilstar chuckled and glanced up. "Yes, Marrowlining?"
