Haven't watched but reviews are decent. They have a new
showrunner, Seth Hoffman, who was a producer/writer for S4 - S6
of the original series.

the show starts in the UK on Friday so will be able to watch the
new series. I must admit I am not itching to watch it I have so
much else above it on my list to watch.

after the dullest of dull Season 2, I thought the opening
episode of season 3 was a good start. Much more Negan humour in
this episode. Maggie and Hershal actually getting on with one
another.
Finally we can move on from the Croat. He was getting boring but
what with the tears from Negan?
Also why would Maggie want to stay with those guys when she has
all those friends back in the commonwealth? That makes no sense.
I'm guessing most of these new characters will be dead by
seasons end which is what happens in these spin offs. I liked
the chap in the bar with the walkers to talk to. That would be
me in this world.
