Solsticepaw walked by the Elder's Den. Thank goodness there are
no elders! she thought. Some of the warriors had told that they
had had to get the ticks off 'em. But what was that smell coming
from inside- Fox?!

Silverstar padded up to the apprentice. She smiled until she saw
the look of alarm spread on Solsticepaw's face. "What's wrong?"
Silverstar asked her, and then the scent hit her like a wave
from the river: Fox!
