Rose padded worriedly through the corridors, looking for
something to do. She was sick of being treated like a special
cat ever since she had been named The Rose a moon ago. She had
noticed a few sunsets ago that cats were treating her different.
Now she was searching for Holly or Hazel, her two best friends.

Hazel padded down the corridor, her light brown tabby tail
trailed after her. Hazel's sightless warm hazel eyes lit up the
empty hall.
Holly rushed over to Hazel, she rested her long bushy black tail
on her friends shoulder.

"Hey! Guys, wait up!" Rose yelped as she spotted her friends.
Rose rushed to them and led out a warm purr of happiness. "I
haven't seen you two in, like, forever." A smile lit up her
pretty face and she laughed in glee.

Hazel let out a mrrow of happiness. "Hello," she turned towards
her friends voice.
Holly smiled. "Hi! How have you been!"

Rose smiled in joy. "I'm doing wonderfully, except I'm not used
to my servant yet. He keeps giving me the eye." She smiled and
flicked the Princess's shoulder with her tail and touched her
nose to Hazel's ear. "Now, tell me how you two have been doing."
The Rose settled down and looked intently at her two friends.

Hazel sat down and looked at her friend with sightless eyes.
"Nothing much," she meowed calmly, "just healing."
Holly sat down next to Hazel and smiled. "All I have been doing
is wandering the castle," she meowed honestly, "i've been very
bored lately."

The Rose laughed. "You guys should visit my quarters." Her
pretty blue eyes looked at Hazel. "Face it," she playfully
teased. "Your gonna be blind and not see the Rose Celebration
this year." She flicked Hazle's nose with her tail.
