Ravenstar looked at the nursery, he listened as she spoke. "I
know but-" he stopped to look up at the sky, "-I don't even know
if she wants to speak to me! I broke her heart and I feel bad
because of it!" His eyes were clouded and his voice shook as he
spoke.
Crystalspirit looked up at Lilyheart, she smiled slightly.
"Hello Lilyheart," she meowed kindly, "how was your day?" Ever
since the old Valleyclan was destroyed, she was heart broken.
Her mate, Ashfur, never made it out and she felt terrible.

three possible mates, a regular life and your love.
Crystalspirit lost her brother and mate, the two kits in that
nursery are both named after your past friend and mate,
Timberkit feels like he has lost two parents, not just one.
Silverkit lost her parents and do you see any of them moping
around camp? No." Fernsong snarled in his face.

Ravenstar's tail flicked across the ground, he hissed as he met
her gaze. "I know that," he spat, "I wish I could turn back
time, maybe then I could have saved all of those cats!" He stood
up and turned away before padding away. "If she wishes to speak
to me then i'm ready to listen," he meowed as he looked over his
shoulder, "I just hope she forgives me."

"She'll forgive you," Fernsong muttered. "But you'll hate her
when you realize everything was a lie." The medicine cat stood
up and walked inside her den listing the herbs she needed to
gather.
Lilyheart watched Ravenstar sadly. She wondered if he'd ever
forgive her for what she'd done.

be...back," she told Crystalspirit. The orange-speckled she-cat
grabbed a robin and padded into Ravenstar's den cautiously and
sat beside the entrance in the shadows. She had never been this
close to him, so she was shocked when she saw the condition he
was in. The robin fell to the ground. "Ravenstar..!" She
exclaimed and rushed over to him. "What happened!?"[/font]

Ravenstar looked up, his eyes wide and clouded. "N-nothing," he
lied, "i'm fine." The sleek black tom sat down and looked at
her.

[font=georgia]"Ravenfeather-star," Lilyheart winced. This was
all her fault. Dang it, Spotpaw! She cursed her old mate
silently. Lilyheart took a deep breath and looked Ravenstar in
the eye. "Ravenstar, it's time to tell you the real story. My
real story. I was never a kittypet or loner, I was an apprentice
of MoonClan. My name was Crescentpaw. Our leader, she had gone
crazy ever since the pack of dogs had come and started killing
patrols. She wouldn't make me and Sp-Spotpaw warriors. We
decided that if we went and killed those dogs, she would make us
warriors. We spoke to the other apprentices, but they refused
our idea, saying staying apprentices was better then death.
Spotpaw was outraged, he took me out to the place where the dogs
were thought to be living. When they didn't come, I told him
they weren't here, and that we should leave. Just then a giant,
brown dog came barreling through the trees. I screamed at
Spotpaw to run away. He told me no, and attacked the dog. I
couldn't just let him die! I attacked as well. The other two
dogs came as well. Now we were both scared. We ran, but were
stuck on a dead end. All I could do is stand in horror as jaws
closed around my head and flung me around. I was laying on the
grass, forced to see Spotpaw take those dogs on all by himself.
The brown dog grabbed him and threw Spotpaw against the rocks. I
was horrified and he help my paw as he died. The dogs left, and
I started crying out blood. Then a Clan-cat named Brackenpelt
came and saw me. He took me to his Clan where I met up with
Angelpaw and Valleystorm. Those three cats pretended I was their
half-sister come to join. Thats why Brackenpelt brought me in
all bloody. Then you came along...and I fell in love.
Brackenpelt told you it was a fox and that I was his sister.
I'm...sorry for lying to you, Ravenstar."[/font]

with disbelief. He couldn't believe any of it, his heart raced.
"You lied to me," he spat, "why? Why didn't you tell me! You
should have told me the truth. I believed you, Lilyheart. What I
don't understand is how you came back! Why did Starclan give you
another chance?" The usually sleek black tom stood up, his neck
fur ruffled. His heart ached, he winced once he realized how
angry he sounded. Why am I such a mouse-brain! He thought
angrily.
Crystalspirit sighed and looked down at her

you!" She spat back and rushed from the den. She dragged herself
out of the camp crying. Tears darkened her fur. Sobs shook her
body, not wanting to let go. I though he loved me...This just
proves how wrong I was. She cried to her heart. Lilyheart curled
up in the roots of a willow and tucked her tail over her nose.
Oh! How she wished it was like those old days. Ravenfeather and
her together again. Lilyheart longed the touch of his fur
against hers.[/font]
