Moonpaw's Training Session {P}

Silverstar padded into the training clearing and lay in the
center, waiting for her apprentice to come back from
who-knows-what. She would be teaching Moonpaw to run faster then
the swiftest of winds. Faster then the deer and rabbits that ran
here.

Moonpaw burst into the clearing, she was so mad at herself for
being late. "S-sorry I was late..Silverstar," she panted.

Silverstar's whiskers twitched in amusement. "You probably
shouldn't have run here, even if you would be late. 'Cause guess
what? Were going to be running a lot today, starting with a few
warm-up laps around the whole territory, then we'll break and
then [I]really[/I] get started." Silverstar purred and started
off in a quick trot.

Moonpaw gasped, when she caught her breath she raced over to her
mentor and slowed her pace to a fast trot.

Silverstar smiled at the laboring apprentice. "We'll take a
break when we reach the river, so let's speed it up!" Silverstar
yowled over her shoulder. The pretty leader sped up into a
long-stride run. She could catch a rabbit at this speed, she
stretched her legs as she ran. A sharp jolt of pain shot up her
foreleg as Silverstar's paw fell in place in a rabbit hole. Her
whole body went crashing to the ground.

Moonpaw bolted over to her mentor, she was panting but forgot
about how tiried she was. "Oh great Starclan!" She yelped,
"Silverstar are you okay?"

Silverstar winced as she stood up. She forced a smile to cover
her pain. "Oh, I'm find, just a little fall." Silverstar mewed
and stared running again, but slower. Silverstar was favoring
her paw, gasping in pain whenever she put weight.

Moonpaw wasn't sure that Silverstar was okay but just kept
running.
