Cloudpaw nodded and turned back to the tree. He jumped onto one
of the branches and began to climb from branch to branch, when
he got to the top he stopped and calculated the distance.
Cloudpaw jumped down from branch to branch and landed on the
ground in front of Jumblestar.

"Okay, so we'll go to this tree. See how the branches are
all really far apart from each other? You have to time your
jumps perfectly." Jumblestar mewed, looking a cedar tree.

Cloudpaw looked at the tree and nodded. The white apprentice
bounded over to the tree and looked up at the branches,
Jumblestar was right they were far apart. Cloudpaw jumped up
onto the first branch and looked at the second, he judged the
distance and jumped. Once Cloudpaw was at the top he tried to
jump down onto a lower branch but missed and fell to the ground,
he landed on his side.

Jumblestar rushed to Cloudpaw's side. "Are you all right?"
he asked. "Thank goodness it was only this tree. On another
tree, the harder one, I dislocated my leg." he meowed. "Can you
feel your leg?"

Jumblestar. "Yes," he meowed after he regained his breath, "my
paw just hurts."
