today?"

"Yes, we will, Cloudpaw." Jumblestar mewed. "Follow me." he
mewed and headed over to the training area, a large clearing
that was filled with rocks and scraggly trees, making it a
veritable jungle gym. He stopped at a tree that was half bent
over, other trees growing near it.
"We'll start with climbing practice today. Once you finish
some easy trees, I'll teach you to climb harder ones, okay?
Climb this tree," he pointed to the bent one "to the highest
branch. Then climb down the way you came back. Don't worry if
you fall though, you won't get hurt."

[center]Cloudpaw followed his mentor, when he stopped in the
clearing he nodded and jumped onto the tree. The small white
apprentice began climbing up the tree, his claws unsheathed, he
almost fell but managed to get a good paw hold. When he had made
it to the highest branch he jumped from branch to branch until
he was back on the ground.[/center]

"Good job, Cloudpaw" Jumblestar mewed, praising his apprentice.
"That tree is hard for some others because of the many different
paths you can take to get to the top. Why don't we try this tree
over here." he mewed, gesturing to a tree that was about 10 feet
tall, but without a lot of branches. "This might be a little
easier, but the trunk is slippery." he mewed.

[center]Cloudpaw smiled, his mentors praise made him feel proud
of himself. He turned to the other tree and nodded before jumped
onto the trunk, he slid back to the ground and hissed before
jumping onto the lowest branch. Cloudpaw jumped from branch to
branch until he made it to the top, he tried to jump onto a
lower branch but missed and fell to the ground.

"Still impressive, Cloudpaw, but could be improved."
Jumblestar mewed. "You didn't judge the distances correctly, and
so you missed the lowest branch both times. If you needed, you
could have jumped on that rock over there and climbed up. I
didn't say you couldn't do that." he mewed, reminding him that
he liked cats to use new methods and think outside of the box.
OOC: I wish that someone could invent a bbcode that makes
paragraphs tab automatically....grrr...
Also, have you noticed that the spoiler code doesn't work here?

(I know, it would make it easier to make paragraphs. Also yes I
can't believe that, if only the spoiler code worked here. :( )

"Do you want to try again?" Jumblestar mewed. He liked how
Cloudpaw was very willing to learn and improve from his
mistakes. He only wished that Cloudpaw put that into practice,
since he misjudged the distance for the lowest branch twice. Oh
well, he thought, You can't get everything the first time. Most
cats start getting things right only after the fourth or fifth
time.
