Runningwatcher smiled. "Do you know Stitchpaw?"
Stitchpaw peeked into the apprentice's den, hoping to find it
empty. To his dismay, Shypaw and the Deputy were sitting down
and talking.

Runningwatcher smelt Stitchpaw and turned to see him getting
ready to slink out of the den. "Stitchpaw, I know there is
something you want to ask Shypaw. Well?"
Stitchpaw looked at Shypaw. "Cou- could we be friends? I mean,
it's okay if you don't want to or somthing like that..."
