Hazelstar snarled at the she-cat, he watcher her lunge at him
and waited until she ducked. He dropped down and rolled over,
then jumped to his paws. "I'm just warming up," he replied with
a smirk. Hazelstar turned to Flamestar and ran at her, only to
swerve to the side last minute and attempting to rake his claws
down her flank as he passed.

Shadowbird padded away from camp, his long black tail trialed
behind him.

Flamestar screached in pain, and then attempted to pounce on
Hazelstar.

Hazelstar yowled as Flamestar landed on him, he attempted to
drop down and roll over.

Flamestar huffed as the breath was knocked out of her. She was
growing weaker, and she new it.

Hazelstar jumped to his paws and shook his fur before attempting
to rake his claws down Flamestar's belly, he could tell she was
growing weaker and decided it was time to do some damage.

Flamestar shrieked in pain as her stomach was sliced right down
the middle. She fell, and spasms overtook her body. "Lead the
clan well, Waterstar!" And then she let go, and collapsed into
that serene feeling of peace and prosperity. Flamestar, the
noble Flamestar, was dead. A cold wind ran through the trees and
rattled them like bones. Crows gatherd in the trees anticipating
their next meal with beaks that had slobber dangling from the
tips. Blood encrusted some of their feathers, and they started
to caw.
Shallowtrout crouched next to her in horror. He understood why
they were watching and not fighting, but when Flamestar uttered
those last words, a tear fell down his cheek. Then, many more
followed, and then suddenly, stopped. "Waterstar, I will follow
you until the death." he whispered.

Waterstar looked at the other cats, then the sky. "I'll take
good care of your clan Flamestar" She whispered.

(Wow, I feel evil.)
Hazelstar stared at Flamestars dead body, his eyes glowed with
triumph. Now he knew that the clan would be weak, the war would
start soon and he knew he would win. The strong tabby leader
looked at the other cats and snarled before stalking away with
his head and tail held high. "I won," he meowed to himself.
Shadowbird looked around and spotted the other cats, he saw
Hazelstar walk away and stalked after him. He had to see what
was gonna happen next.

Shallowtrout glared at Hazelstar. "You murderer! his war never
had to happen! Mountainclan is stronger then ever, now that we
want revenge!"
