Kanch doged the water and sat there, watching Zita intently.
(Can he be Zita's 'pet'?)
Kioshee recovered and perched on a branch, watching Kanch
closely.

Zita was surpised, and then she smiled. She wasn't used to
anyone or animals liking her. She loved her plants.

Kioshee fluttered down and landed on Sapphire's shoulder. She
eyed Kanch wearily.
Kanch ran into the forest and came back out with a bunch of
pretty wildflowers. He droppe them at Zita's side.
