Albion, Castle Herristan ((@ Everyone))
---------------------------------------------------------
The morning air is pleasant surrounding Castle Herristan, the
soft singing of birds is emanates from the lush spring tree's
scattered around the courtyard and gardens. Nobles and lords
walk slowly in order for them to take in surrounding sights,
ever so often one would stop another to speak about the daily
happenings in either the country or just local gossip. The sight
of bright red coats are seen as a parade of soldiers parade
around the castles perimeter, in theory its to guard, but its
used mainly as an excuse to show off their medals and badges to
the ladies of the house. An eagle flies into the attic room of
the castle, landing on a small bird stand by the kings bed. King
Edward the III slowly opens his eyes to the sound of the bird,
turning in the opposite direction of his sleeping wife, to be
greeted by a tired looking Eagle with a note tied to its right
foot. He takes it and opens out the small scroll, reading it.
Dear King Edward,
In honour of your fiftieth royal anniversary a banquet feast is
being held in the high hall downstairs, the food shall be cooked
by our fine royal chefs and taken directly onto the tables. The
lords and ladies of our fellow countries shall be invited to
dine with us at the feast and we of course will take precautions
to have soldiers to guard the castle for the banquet. Make sure
you and your dear wife are dressed in the fine garments which
will be provided on the night before.
Sincerely, Royal event organiser; Richard Hollingsworth.
The king sighs as he finishes reading the letter, taking out a
small quill from beside his bed and dipping it gently into a
nearby ink pot. He signs the letter with confirmation and
re-ties the scroll to the birds foot.
