This thread explains the application system used on Wayside
Alabaster. If you want to apply for a faction, do it here
HTML http://waysidealabaster.createaforum.com/faction-board/.
The
whole application must be written in english (british or
american).
---------------------------------------------------------
[color=rgb(0, 128, 128)]The boards
- The Faction Rosters board contains rosters about every faction
on Wayside Alabaster except certain custom factions.
- The Custom Factions board contains threads about accepted
custom faction who requested an own application thread. Rosters
of some, explanations and applications will be posted in those
threads.
- The faction threads contain application formats of every
faction except custom factions but the custom faction
application format. Applications are sent directly as replies,
not as new threads.
The judging system
- [size=2]Accepted [size=small][size=small]- You've done a good
job, only minor flaws or none at all!
- Trial - Your application was fairly good but several flaws
here and there. On the server, a closer look will be taken at
you and things can get you unwhitelisted easier.
- Pending - There are some heavy but correctable flaws in your
application. Fix them within 48 hours and your application will
be judged as usual.
- Denied - Your application was too bad to let you be
whitelisted, try again a week after the final judgement!
The application format
- [size=2]Steam name: The name you currently or usually have set
as your display name, with or without clan tags.
- [size=2]Steam ID: The identification digit of your Steam
account.
- [size=2]Roleplay example: A scene of roleplay chat the way it
would be seen in the server logs but only with in-character
lines and recognized names. You can take any lore or real life
you want but it has to be apparent from the text. You may add
comments marked with // in seperate lines within the roleplay
example; however those will not be accounted as lines.
- [size=2]Backstory: This should contain general information
about past, especially childhood and important events/ later
progresses, also describing the character's feeling in those
certain situations and possibly something about his current
persona. You can use more details than usually to describe
specific situations that were burnt into your character's
memories.
[size=3]The application threads are for application topics only,
do not post anything there except your application post and a
note in case you modified a pending application.
If you have any more questions about the application system,
feel free to drop a comment below.[size=small]
