       Question
I understand the principle of eliminating strictly dominated
strategies and the way to do it as well for mixed strategies,
I am a bit confused on a quicker way of finding the mixed
strategies that dominate pure strategies, right now what i do is
i check every possibility (by putting probabilities on 2 or more
actions and checking if the payoff is higher than the pure
strategy that i haven't assigned a probability to) but that
seems like a very long way of doing it....
       Answer
There are many ways to find strategies that strictly dominate
another one and with experience you'll get faster. I usually
start by finding the best responses. A strategy that isn't a
best response to anything should be dominated by some
combination of the others. First, I look for poor strategies,
then for 1/2 mixes, then for more complex combinations.
