       Exam january 2011 q. 5 (a)

       Hi Julia, hi all!
       I solved question 5 (a) in 2011 exam in a slightly different way
       respect to model answers: instead of noticing that, for player
       1, the top row striclty dominates the medium one, I said that a
       mixed strategy where he plays the bottom row with probability a
       bit less than 1/2 and the top with probability a bit higher than
       1/2 strictly dominates the medium row.
       The final result is the same, and probably this way is more
       complex but... is it correct? Thank you and happy new year to

       That's after cancelling the right row for player 2, right?
       Yes, that's also correct. It is common that you have many
       strategies that strictly dominate another one. You just need to
       give one and it doesn't matter which one. If you have a pure
       strategy, that's usually easier, but the other one is not wrong.
