her pale, sand colored fur, mixed with her stripes, as her
mother had said, her fur was the color of sand due to her love
of the beach, her darker sand colored stripes where from the
rays of the sun. her aqua optics from the clear water she swam
in, she was truly a beach-beauty. Smilypaw looked around, she
wanted a few friends to play with.

"Hello" squeaked the shecat. In all honesty most big cats
frightened the young shecat, but also made her very curious. The
cream tabby looked at Littlemiss. She didn't know the deputy too
well, but maybe that'd change.

The turned and saw a kitten, strangely with a mossball, playing
on the beach. [I]I wonder if he snuck out of camp, I should do
something[/I] but then again, Smilykit had always escaped from
camp. Smilypaw looked at Kingkit questioningly, but did nothing,
as Littlemiss was there and she didn't want to appear snappish
or mean or worse, power-hungry in front of the deputy.

Nymphpaw padded over to Smileypaw and the others, a small crab
in her jaws. She had just caught it, and was rather proud, since
it was the second piece of prey she'd ever caught. Sitting down
and dropping it at her paws, the apprentice nodded hello. "Hi
guys."

"Nice catch" Smilypaw commented, pointing with her tail at the
crab.

Happy that someone noticed it, Nymphpaw beamed and purred
happily. "Thank you! I just caught it a few minutes ago...my
second catch ever!" she exclaimed, flicking her tail. She did
like to hunt, although she wasn't very good at it yet, and the
crab was currently her most prized possession. "Want to share it
with me?" Nymphpaw asked suddenly, remembering her hunger.

Quite unsure whether to say yes or no, Smilypaw just said a
unsure yes, gave a look of hope at Littlemiss, hoping that they
where doing nothing wrong. And padded over to Nymphpaw. The
scent of crab began to flow through her as she sat down next to
her fellow apprentice, and then Smilypaw noticed how hungry she
actually was.

Nymphpaw took a bite of the crab, tearing off a chunk of the
hard shell. She then dug into the soft meat within the
exoskeleton, almost sighing in content. She loved crab, it was
her favorite food. Far better than seagull. The calico pushed
the crab closer to Smilypaw, nodding encouragingly.
