[center][color=gold]Verticalpaw appeared like a mirage, with her
pure white fur almost blinding if you stared at it to long, and
the sun was setting just behind her. If one was to look at her
face, you would see a once beautiful she-cat with half of her
face torn off, the left side, while the other side remained
perfect, with bright gold eyes and a pretty little pink button
nose and short whiskers. She was a tom-boy and would much rather
be playing in the mud than with some prissy little girls. If you
peeled back her personality a little more you would find someone
pretending to be couragous and brave,and she puts up a good act.
She could hold the longest of grudges and is very protective,
and those two work hand and hand together.
There she was, on the Crashingclan border, waiting for her new
life to start. [/center]

The friendly chirp of the savannah warrior, a well-known sound
around CrashingClan, would be the first feline voice heard by
Verticalpaw as he picked his way over, tail swishing. Hazel eye
gleamed as he tilted his head in a way so the torn part of his
face wouldn't be visible, the empty socket hidden from view.
DeadClan battle wounds... He took them hard. "I'm
Barbarianthreat, by the way."

The white apprentice padded up from behind Barbarianthreat
looking at the cat on the border, Mosspaw wondered what the cat
waited.

"Yes, I am here to join! My name is Verticalpaw. It is nice to
meet you." She dipped her head downward, hoping that her torn-up
face would not show. Looking back up so her only eye would meet
the other cats eyes, she smiled. She was grateful that she had
not been treated with hostility, and utterly surprised that
there was someone there... like her.

Mosspaw looked up show his scar across his right eye, his eye
some how made it but the battle scar left a long scar down his
eye lid. Mosspaw looked unsure of what to say and looked to the
warrior for him to speak.

gave a comforting grin. "Don't worry, I got the same thing." he
remained upbeat and conversational throughout, slightly tilting
his head to reveal the flesh and muscle and eye socket that had
once been identical to the other side of his face. "But I don't
see why ya can't join... Might need to get some higher up
involved, but... Mm. I'm just a warrior, see." he shrugged. "Oh,
nice name by the way, Verticalpaw."

voice rather deep as he approached. The Maine Coon strode
towards the trio, dipping his broad head ever slightly to
Barbarianthreat as thanks. "You're here to join - yes?" The
blue-furred leader let his oculars run over the newcomer before
questioning, "Now, what is your name, and if you could provide
it, your history."[/center]

backed off, allowing the Maine Coon to do his job as expected,
watching the procedures curiously.

Mosspaw backed away with the warrior not sure if he would stay
or not. So he sat quitely waiting to her what they were going to
say.
