       PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR [Medicine Cat's sister-in-law! DEAD
       TOO?!]

       [center]The fawn sable she-cat padded out to the beach with her
       snow white brother, blissfully unaware of the danger they were
       about to face. Maltesepaw and Rachelpaw were discussing Clan
       business when suddenly a scream sounded, then the scent of death
       hung in the air. While her brother panicked, Rachelpaw ran for
       the camp, which probably heard the scream, grabbing cobweb,
       chervil and moss before hurrying back and following her
       brother's trail in the sand.
       There lay a melanistic serval, three savannah kittens and a
       mourning Maltesepaw. DeadClan was on the black wildcat's body
       scent, and the kits were black and white. What a shame.
       Rachelpaw immediately thought. Caught in a forbidden love and
       making me an aunt. Maltesepaw, you're lucky both of our parents
       are dead.
       "Why are you standing there?" Maltesepaw snarled. "Do
       something!"
       Rachelpaw shook her head. "Her life is already lost. Are you
       blind or stupid or both? Because of your mistake, she is dead. I
       don't even have to investigate. This is your fault, Maltesepaw."
       Rachelpaw went back to camp and put her herbs back, ignoring the
       glares of 'what the heck?' and sitting down by her brother,
       sister in law and their kits, sending a prayer to StarClan that
       they accepted her and let her live an internal life.[/center]

       [center]Littlemiss was quite confused as Rachelpaw went from the
       camp, out, and returned again. What the heck was she doing? The
       dilute calico deputy padded over cautiously, and meowed, "Um,
       Rach? What's going on?" She was hesitant, knowing the medicine
       cat was in a fragile state. Her mentor had been killed, and now
       she looked upset again.[/center]

       had a mate I didn't know of, but she was DeadClan. And now she's
       dead like her Clan's name sake. I was too late to save her...I
       tried because she's family. But now what to do with the
       kits?"[/center]

       The white apprentice, Mosspaw couldn't help but here there
       conversation. The apprentice sat there thinking about the kits
       and what would happen to them.

       [center][font=georgia]Giving a deep warble the male stalked
       over, head lowering to observe the two kits, not even sparing a
       glance for the dead body. He'd give consolation to those
       affected later; right now, the living children were his
       priority. "We can't send them to DeadClan and we can't kill
       them, can we? We might as well take them in, raise them as
       warriors here." he suggested, tail flicking.

       began to feel unsure about these kits.
