Outsider Joining
OUTSIDER JOINING IS CURRENTLY OPEN
YOU MAY ATTEMPT TO JOIN IN THE APPROPRIATE THREAD
HTML https://warriorsanewdawn.createaforum.com/windclan/windclan-outsider-joining/
Before joining WindClan, all outsiders must speak with Veilstar
for approval.
New outsiders typically begin as apprentices regardless of age,
unless Veilstar decides otherwise. They must adopt a Clan name,
and Veilstar will determine if their chosen name is acceptable.
Outsiders who are actively pregnant may join as queens instead
and will still be expected to complete training. Failure to do
so may result in loss of Clan status.
If your character is an apprentice or warrior from another Clan,
Veilstar will assess their skills and knowledge to determine
what additional training they need.
To request to join, please complete the form below:

Rank Requirements
These requirements apply only to WindClan promotions and may
differ from other Clans. It's recommended you consult the Clan
leader before skipping requirements, as your character may face
punishment.
Kit to Apprentice
Your kit must exist for at least two weeks in real time before
becoming an apprentice.
You should have at least six roleplay posts featuring that kit.
Your character should not have been recently punished by a high
rank or caught violating the Warrior Code or Roleplay
Guidelines.
Apprentice to Warrior
Your apprentice must have existed in that rank for at least two
months in real time.
You need at least 50 roleplay posts with that apprentice.
Your apprentice must complete at least five training experiences
with a warrior present (doesn't have to be their mentor). These
must include: 1 hunting lesson, 1 fighting lesson, and 1 clan
skill lesson (rabbit hunting), with the remaining 2 lessons of
your choice.
Acceptable training experiences include:
Hunting lessons (Required)
Battle training sessions (Required)
Border tours
Patrols (hunting, border, battle, or herb collection)
Battle experiences (such as raids—requires a prior battle
training session)
Other meaningful life experiences where the character learns
something substantial
Plot participation
When applying for a ceremony, link these training posts for
reference to ensure your character has received proper training.
You're responsible for organizing your own training sessions,
though high ranks may assign you to patrols.
Your apprentice must actively attend at least two Clan meetings,
including their own ceremony. They should participate
appropriately—for example, chanting a new warrior's name during
the ceremony.
Your apprentice must complete a final assessment with a warrior
once minimum training is met. The only exception is if Veilstar
approves using an event or raid as a replacement assessment.
Your character should not have been recently punished by a high
rank or caught violating the Warrior Code or Roleplay
Guidelines.
If your character hasn't met these requirements by 18 moons,
they must speak with Veilstar for guidance. By 21 moons,
Veilstar will reassess whether they're fit for Clan life and
what they need to do to earn their warrior name.
Warrior to Queen
Characters created as expecting queens may give birth anytime.
Pre-existing characters (such as warriors becoming pregnant)
must wait at least one month.
Warriors can request in-character or out-of-character to move to
the nursery and pause warrior duties for up to six months. After
six months, unless there's a valid reason, Veilstar will ask
them to return to warrior duties.
Warrior to Elder
You need at least 100 posts with the character as a warrior.
Characters who are 80 moons or older may become elders due to
age. Younger characters need a valid reason to retire, such as a
health condition verified by a medicine cat. Veilstar will
consider the medicine cat's advice and act accordingly.
Anyone Else to Elder
Outsiders cannot join as elders, regardless of disability.
Veilstar will determine if they're fit for Clan life, and if
they can't benefit the Clan, their request will be denied.
Young Clan cats born into or injured to the point of being
unable to serve may be exiled unless Veilstar finds a use for
them. Prove your worth or face exile.

Request a Ceremony
Once your character meets the requirements above, fill out the
appropriate form. You don't need special requirements to request
a name change or mentor reassignment.
If you don't have a mentor lined up, leave that spot blank and
one will be randomly assigned.

Why they're being exiled:
Ceremonies occur during Clan meetings every two weeks or so.
Your character is expected to attend and participate when
called. You'll have 24 hours to respond before moving forward.
Missing a ceremony may result in punishment or your character
being marked as missing.
This thread will be checked before ceremonies begin.

Announcements
Births and deaths aren't typically covered by ceremonies. You
can request they be announced at the upcoming Gathering, but
some requirements apply.
Births
Queens must have at least ten roleplay posts to have their birth
mentioned at the Gathering.
To ensure active kits are announced, each kit needs at least
three posts. If you have a litter of four kits and only one
meets the requirement, only that kit will be mentioned.
Stillborns receive an honorable mention regardless of activity.
Deaths
Characters must have at least five roleplay posts and been in
the Clan for at least seven days to be announced.
All deaths must be roleplayed out—no off-screen deaths. Include
the death roleplay post when applying.
Use this form to apply:
Name:
Queen or Deceased Cat?:
If a queen, list your kits that qualify and mention the
roleplayers:
If deceased, link the death roleplay post:

Allegiances Changes
To change something on the Allegiances, post your cat's name and
the desired change with a mention to the leader.
This includes adopting a character from another roleplayer or
requesting their removal from the allegiances.
