that out." she mewed, treating herself to a fake yawn of
boredom. The calico sat down in a more relaxing position on the
rock, and looked expectantly at the other leaders, waiting fir
them to speak.

Hourpaw shook his head. "What a psycho..." he muttered to
Flutterpaw. The sandy tom couldn't believe Taintedstar was even
a leader, he was so disrespectful. He wondered what the previous
leader, Bronzestar, had seen in her as a warrior. Bronzestar had
only died a few moons, maybe he should have asked him. Hourpaw
snorted at the thought. It was probably because of her amazing
strength.

Northernlights sighed again. She looked up at the moon, to make
sure it hadn't clouded over. There were a few light clouds near
the moon, but not over it. She flinched. Taintedstar might just
ruin the Gathering for all of them.[/font]

once a moon." He had it easy. He didn't have to put up with her
screaming like a crazed maniac all day, and always have a head
ache. She had only just returned to her clan, and had only just
settled in again, but already her head hurt from the crazy
calico's mindless bawling. She's so loud! How was she made
deputy?

He hated having bitter, snappy Northernlights as his sister,
imagine being Taintedstar's sister.

return, then fell silent, comfortable in knowing that she was
not required to speak any more. Her blue eyes focused on the
leaders again, fur flattening as her fear drained away. Did
Taintedstar have to be so... Taintedstar? Disrespecting medicine
cats, threatening to break the truce and force the cats to the
point of wishing to fight? Her snide remarks were just getting
on eveyone's nerves, even kind little Flutter could tell, and it
was stressing the cream apprentice out. If everyone went mad and
attacked each other ~ or just ThunderClan ~ she knew that
StarClan would get angry, and... Without thinking, the declawed
she-cat shuddered and crouched again, wide eyes fearful at the
thought of everyone fighting.

cat he totally despised, and she appeared worse than ShadowClan.
Instead of starting to spit insults and challenge others, he

scent. I won't dare break the truce and fight you yet,
Rumenikstar. But consider this your only warning. If we catch a
whiff of you beyond your border ever again, I won't hesitate to

The russet tom drew in a sharp, angry breath. [b]"Taintedstar, I
suggest that you respect the medicine cats. They led you to the
Moonstone to get your lives, did they not? Not to mention
without them, ThunderClan would be extinct."

Rumenikstar's fur bristled. "Really, now? Because we caught
RiverClan scent on our side." He struggled to stay calm, but
refused to break the truce.

Wovenbasket smiled as Rowanstar stood up for RiverClan, and she
wanted so desperately to cheer him on. She had a crush on
Rowanstar since they were apprentices, but the two had never
been more than just friends.

what?! ShadowClan scents on your side? You sure? I don't... Why
would we want to be on your territory? We're fine with our own,
thank-you, br if anyone is trespassing on your territory without
a valid reason..." The Maine Coon trailed off, growling, then
continued: "But I think we all get it. We've found enemy clan
scents on our sides of the border, you've found enemy clan
scents on your side of the border. Honestly, is this really
worth breaking the truth and launching into full-blown war over?
Calm down. I promise that if I found a ShadowClanner trespassing
on anyone's territory, they will not be let of lightly, but the
same goes for intruders from you guys. You stay away from us, we
stay away from you."

Graffitiart yawned. Accusations, accusations... Ugh. He was glad
no-one had mentioned WindClan. The deputy padded around, a bit
tired. Gatherings... Wasn't there a truce? These idiots were
about to break it.

The russet tom turned to Graffitiart, narrowing his eyes. "Where
