lessened, considering they broke a rule. Also, yes, it would be
more practical and efficient. For this reason, we can allow the
players to have the option of whether or not to go to court,
almost taking a risk at your punishment. For example, the staff
member can say something like, "your punishment is a 48 hour
ban. Would you like to accept this, or take it to court?" By
accepting it, they serve the 48 hours, and that's the end of it.
By taking it to court, the jury and judge could possibly find
the defendant to deserve even MORE time, and give him a full
week of being banned. But then again, they could find him to
deserve only 24 hours too. This way it's a risk at what you do,
therefore less players will choose to go, bringing down the mass
of people who're being reported to go through a while court
case.

I still stand by this, as I do like the court idea, as well as I
do understand that it may not be the worlds most efficient
thing, and not all players being punished will want to go
through it.

I think they should be punished and could protest their ban on
an unban section. I'll stand by this.

This is actually a really interesting idea. I'm surprised other
servers haven't come up with or implemented this.

Yet another supporting member. If the community stands behind

As I said before I do not care what type of person it is. If
you break a rule you must get a punishment. There is a reason
why there are rules. I can make a lot of friends, then break the
rules whenever I want and have my friends say I'm a good person,
then not get punished with this suggestion.
I have some key points:
You were talking about evidence, how would you show pictures
in-game? You cannot, you need the forums for that.
This takes way too many staff members. If there is only a
moderator, and an admin online, and there was court, then if
something happened and someone needed an admin, than the admin
would have to pause the court and go to him.
Since you cannot show evidence, then the only thing you can do
is argue, which you can do on the forums. So as I said before, I
would suggest an unban section on the forums, because you don't
have to be by a computer to try to unban yourself. Your friends
don't have to be on the same time as you, as the post on forums
don't disappear.

So you are a front runner? You should stand behind this idea
because you like it, not just because your friends want it.

Wow I can't lie, some very good points are made in here.
Extremely good.

Power to the players, listen to the community. This game dies
without players, like the United States of America would die
without people. Paper currency is strongest when backed by gold,
as this game is strongest when backed by players.
If the community likes it, if the community wants it, if the
community is willing to fight for it, consideration and
reasoning must be taken by the staff, no matter the suggestion.
I also DO like this idea, and personally DO back it, like I said
before, though you're also making some great points.
