Why don't we just get an unban section in the forums?

Because then its not very opinionated, a court case has plenty
of others to give opinions and evidence. plus its a lot faster
in game rather than over the forums.

This would take a lot of players, and I think it is not needed.
I give this a -support

Luke, In the Unban section (if it's made) a player's fate will
be decided by one person, and that decision wouldn't be subject
to any form of alteration by the victim. In a court case, If the
judge wants to Perm Ban a player for his/her mistakes, but the
victim would only want them to be banned for 48 hours to let
them think about their mistakes then they could just simply say
so. On the forums the rule breaker only has one topic to post
their best appeal, which even then might not be said very well.
This gives players the opportunity to not have their entire
account gone to waste over something from a simple mistake on
their part or a misunderstanding by the accuser. If a player's
entire account is on the line, I think that having more players
present is easily worth it.

Personally, I really do agree with you on this one, Andrew. I
was going to reply saying, "How about the courtroom is placed on
the forums, this way we get the best of both worlds?" Then I
realized that doing so would remove all of the fun, enjoyment,
and excitement that having the courthouse in game would be.
Luke, I agree that it will take a lot of players, and
realistically, it will not be an easy thing to do, but with
support from the community, we could get it done. It would be a
fun thing, as opposed to just a means of getting a punishment,
which certainly is not fun. Here at Warrior, we are willing to
try out best, and I think that, if we really set our minds to
it, it'd be a fun, interesting thing for the players to
participate in. Power to the players, giving them a say as the
jury and defendants. I am the type of person who believes
strongly in power to the players, and for this reason, I give my
support.

I still give this a -support because a player's fate isn't
decided by one person. It is decided by most of the staff team,
not just me, or the person who banned the player. There is a
reason why a player is made an admin or a mod. If you think your
ban is unfair, then you should go protest it in an unban
section. The player does not get to decide his/her punishment.
This is the responsibility of the staff.
