"Don't Underestimate Me."

In this deleted scene, Carol welcomes Merle back to the group,
but threatens to slice his throat while he sleeps if he tries to
ruin things for Daryl.
I truly believe Carol earned Merle's respect, and notice that
Daryl is in the background eavesdropping on their conversation.
;D

Merle could definitely see she was special, he even called her a
late bloomer.

I really do love that scene, that's why I quoted it verbatim in
one of the chapters of my fanfic "To Live Again."
While Daryl sleeps in his cell, Merle's ghost appears in his
dream and talks about his conversation with Carol. Merle can
see that Carol and Daryl have a mutual attraction, so he tells
his little brother that "She'll do right by you." Just Merle's
way of telling Daryl its alright to fall in love. :-*
