Another sweet Caryl moment occurred here when Carol tried to
encourage Daryl, who became deeply withdrawn after Beth died in
Grady Memorial Hospital.

That was another sweet moment, but I wish Daryl didn't have to
burn himself with a cigarette in order to let himself feel
anything.

It might've had something to do with his rough childhood. Daryl
needed to cry, but couldn't (he missed Beth, but she wasn't
"kin" as Merle would say), so he had to burn himself to cry.
It was a pain leads to tears, sort of thing.

I totally get the self harming thing cause I used to do it
myself way back in the day, but a lot of people see that moment
with Daryl as him being "emo" and I completely get the
frustration with some because I miss the Daryl from season 3 and
even 4A. I really hope he comes back in 6B.

I'm glad that Daryl became somewhat of a background character,
because all the haters were complaining TWD had become the Daryl
show and were demanding they kill him off.
When Daryl used the RPG in "No Way Out" I immediately thought he
had returned to his former self. ;D

It's looking that way so far, so hopefully Gimple doesn't let us
down.
