"Consumed" was a great episode to come out of a shitty storyline
IMO. I loved that Daryl and Carol had a chance to actually talk
and see how they've changed. It was nice but I kind of wished
Carol opened up to him more, but I understand why she didn't.

Carol refused to talk about Lizzie and Mika's deaths, but Daryl
likely suspects that she had to "put down" both of the girls.

Most likely when she says "it was much worse than that."

Daryl should've made his move then but I wonder if Carol
would've been receptive?

Unfortunately, the walker mother and child in the room down the
hall put a halt to any love making. :(

I'm curious if anyone thinks, while Noah was pinned underneath
that bookshelf with a walker snapping at him, Daryl was testing
Carol's belief that they couldn't save anybody the way the world
is now.

That's a good question actually, damn now you've got me thinking
about that as well.
Was he testing her?

When Carol first asked Daryl to help Noah, he looked at her for
a moment, and said no. Then Daryl coldly walked away from the
scene. When Carol shouted for Daryl's help, he suddenly shot an
arrow that killed the walker threatening Noah. Daryl was taking
aim with his crossbow the whole time. Daryl was definitely
testing Carol.
