Andrea and Dale had a good relationship for the most part and it
was obvious they cared a lot for each other despite not always
seeing eye to eye on everything. I know things got ugly between
them when Andrea made the decision to kill herself and Dale said
he'd go with her.
His whole "You can't just come into someone's life, make them
care and just check out" speech really solidified just how much
Dale did care, and to be willing to die right there with her.
And while it was a strong and moving moment, later on we see
that Andrea is bitter over not being able to die the way she
wanted to.
She told Dale that he robbed her of a painless death for his own
selfish reasons.
Do you think Dale was being selfish?

Do you think Dale was being selfish (with Andrea)?

I think Dale saw in Andrea and Amy (who didn't last long) the
children he and his wife never had. I think Dale was
overprotective, but he cared, and when Andrea snapped at him
(which happened often) he was hurt by it.
I think Dale was right that people can't just walk into
someone's life, make them care, and then check out; suicides
leave families and friends suffering for many years, sometimes
their whole lives. I also wonder if Andrea was sincere when she
said the only reason she left the CDC was to save Dale's life,
or did she just say that to hurt him.

I think she said it to hurt him because deep down she wasn't
ready to die either.

It's noteworthy that for all their disagreements, Andrea was the
one group member who agreed with Dale that Randall's life should
be spared. One could argue that Andrea's insistence on avoiding
bloodshed between survivors began right there.

I think so too, but I wonder if both of them had lived, would
they still feel the same about people? Like for example had Dale
lived and gotten the tainted meat death, would Dale want Rick,
Andrea, and the others to spare the termite's life?

There's no way Dale could survive long term; he was too rooted
in the old world.
Andrea was attracted to the Governor, but the potential of what
Woodbury could be was what really blinded her to her situation.
She stayed long as she did because she wanted the town, its
people, and her old group, to coexist.
