Travis Manawa

Travis Manawa is a good man, a good teacher, and a patient
father to his distant son Chris. But Travis is also a stubborn
man, who believes society will rebound from the Turn, and who
refuses to accept that Chris is turning into a sociopath.
Lets see if, the season 2 finale, Travis will heed Shane's
advice: "You can't just be the good guy and expect to live. Not
anymore."

Wow! I watched the season 2 finale of Fear The Walking Dead,
"Wrath" and Travis finally lost his patience and beat to death
the two remaining bro punks whom Chris chose to run with. :o
Unfortunately, in his rage, Travis inadvertently one of the good
hotel residents, and it nearly cost his life, but it certainly
cost him, Madison, and Alicia, the hotel they had cleared out to
be their new home.
I'm not sorry that Chris died, however. He was too far gone.
Maybe he was always too far gone.

This is my exact thinking with Chris. There was always
underlying issues with him that were never worked out so when
everything fell apart, Chris just descended further into that
darkness, and that's why there was no way in hell Travis could
reach him. He was too far gone and it didn't matter whether
Travis told him he loved him or not.
