Noah isn't in the list but he is definitely a character that was
killed off too soon. I had hoped he would last much longer.

I miss Merle and Hershel, in that order.
I wish Merle could've stayed around to tease Daryl about Carol.
Maybe the others in the group would forgive Merle, and he'd have
a sense of worth, like he did with the people of Woodbury. Of
course, Merle would die in the battle for the prison.
I miss Hershel because of his humanity and reason; he wasn't
beholden to his principles like Dale was. I'd like to have seen
Hershel mentor Merle, and show him that he wasn't the man the
Governor and Rick thought he was. Sadly, Hershel still gets
decapitated by the Governor.
As for the others on the list...meh. :-\

At least we both agree that Merle and Hershel should've lived
