Dale and the Guns

Do you think Dale did the right thing when he attempted to hide
the group's guns from Shane? I remember a few fans believed
Dale put the group's lives at risk with his drastic action.

No I think Dale was stupid to hide the guns. Sure Shane wasn't
in the best state of mind but Dale wasn't thinking clearly
either, and he did put the group's lives at risk by acting so
impulsively. Dale was trying too hard to be the good guy when at
that point you couldn't be a good guy anymore.

I can see Dale's side on this because by hiding the guns, he was
trying to buy Rick time to convince Hershel into letting the
group stay on the farm.
Yeah, Dale's plan was risky, but Shane's plan to open the barn
and kill the walkers inside, which included Hershel's wife,
stepson, and his neighbors, was risky, too.
