Expectations for Season 7?
By: Ickray_Imesgray Date: May 13, 2016, 4:32 pm

If you have any what are they, and are they realistic?
For me I just expect Season 7 to focus on the war between Negan
and the three communities. I also expect some more and hopefully
better writing for Carol, something that brings her back either
via Caryl or have her do something that sets her straight.
I'm not as sore over the cliffhanger anymore but I do hope that
we don't get any repeats of the same bullshit, such as the Glenn
fake out and what have you. I'd like to have better writing
overall and build ups that deliver in the end and instead of
leaving you high and dry.
Those expectations of mine are realistic and can be done.

My expectations?
I just want Caryl to happen. That'll go a long way to winning
back my faith in the Walking Dead.

So I've heard there's a possible storyline in Season 7 where
Daryl is taken prisoner by Negan? No confirmation at this point
but its out there and so I thought I'd ask if you believe it's a
good idea or is it once again another example of bad writing?

It think its ridiculous. The writing on season 6 was poor
(especially in 6B) and hallmarked by character regression.
I'm not going to watch the season 7 premiere. Looks like I
might give up on the show completely.

It's too bad the writing has been so poor, especially since a
lot of those writers had written decent episodes in the past.
What the hell happened?
I still hold out hope for Caryl in the end even if Season 7 ends
up sucking.

Maybe the show has been too popular for its own good. The
writers have gotten lazy, or Gimple expects us to eat it up
(pardon the pun) because we love the show.
Things might be starting to change: I've read the ratings for
season 6 were low, and we all know about the backlashes over the
Glenn and Lucille cliffhangers. Maybe if the ratings decrease
significantly, AMC will replace Gimple and hire a new show
runner who can bring the show back to where it use to be.

Let's hope cause Gimple certainly isn't cutting it right now.
