Bob's Alcoholism

Would anyone have liked to have seen Bob's alcoholism be a
subplot of season 4?
Alcoholism is a serious disease; most people struggle with it
their whole lives. After the season 4 premiere, I expected Bob
to be a man with good intentions, but his alcoholism makes him a
constant screw up.

IMO Bob would've struggled with his addiction the same way Nick
from FTWD struggles with his. It's not something a person can
just turn off at will, therefore I do believe it would've been
more realistic for him to be looking for it at all costs like a
true addict.

True. I guess Bob was keeping a bottle of alcohol in that box
when Sasha thanked him for saving her life. Maybe that scene
was made to imply that Sasha was Bob's inspiration to "bury" his
alcoholism and she had become his reason to stay sober.
Had Bob not been bit at the food bank, would he have relapsed
and gotten drunk on the communal wine the group drank at Father
Gabriel's church?
Who is Nick and what is this FTWD that you speak of? ???
