       Season 7 speculation thread

       [glow=limegreen,2,300]I know 6B hasn't even aired yet, but since
       the writing has begun for season 7, I felt it would be a good
       idea to speculate about what might or might not be included in
       the upcoming season.
       So what do you expect to see in season 7?
       We're obviously going to see a lot of Negan and the saviors. But
       I wonder what they'll include from the comic.[/glow]

       From what we know, episode 16 of season 6 will leave us hanging
       after Negan bashes someone's head in with Lucille. But if the
       show continues to follow the comic, then at the beginning of
       season 7, we could very well get this scene:

       After Glenn is killed in the comic, Maggie Greene is angry and
       devastated to the point she begins beating on and taking her
       anger out on Rick.

       At first it seems like she's just not going to stop but then
       this happens

       Carl Grimes has had enough of watching Maggie beat on his father
       that he pulls his gun on her and warns her that he will shoot if
       she doesn't stop. Now imagine this scene playing out in the
       series. I could definitely see it happening as long as CR does
       well on the delivery of that line. The young actor has improved
       over the years, so I don't have my doubts with him.
       But yes, this scene from the comic has got to make it to the
       screen. I just don't see season 7 moving forward with a time
       skip. It has to start where 616 left off.
       People are going to be emotional enough after the death happens,
       that it would be stupid to just ignore what happens after.

       Also in the comic Sophia is still alive and has become the
       adoptive daughter of Glenn and Maggie. And when Carl aims his
       gun at Maggie that's when Sophia attacks him. Now given the
       filming spoilers for 616. I don't believe Enid was there at all
       with the rest of the cast, so I think they might have another
       character stop Carl or at least talk some sense into him. I know
       Michonne is there, so she could very well be the one.
       Anyway, before Glenn's death Rick and the other were headed back
       to the hilltop because Glenn thought Maggie and Sophia would be
       safer there. (So Enid might be with the group, but I don't think
       at this point she would be calling Maggie mom yet, but I could
       be wrong.
       And so after Glenn's death they head back to the hill top and
       Maggie wants to bury his body there.

       Jesus is there to greet them and learns that they have
       personally encounter Negan himself and he killed one of their
       own.

       Then Rick and the others tell Gregory what happened and he's
       just as shocked that they actually saw Negan, and that he is a
       living person after all. Gregory also freaks out and begs to
       know if Rick told him about their agreement to which Rick
       punches him in his face and says Negan doesn't know shit, but
       Rick is pissed at Greg for not telling him how many men Negan
       even had.

       But Rick doesn't believe him and storms out. Jesus even tries to
       talk to him and Rick won't hear it. He apologizes to Maggie and
       tells her he and the others need to return to Alexandria now.
       They even hug and it seems things are fine between them once
       again.
