Where is Daryl's story going to go from here?

---------------------------------------------------------
Season 6 ended with a cliffhanger, but I'm confident Daryl
wasn't the one killed, so where do you think his story goes from
here?
Daryl's going to spend some months at the Hilltop recovering
with Maggie. I think Rick will keep Daryl in the dark about
Carol (who's recovering at the Kingdom) leaving Alexandria.
Daryl will revert back to his season 1 self: cold, quiet, alone.
He'll want to kill Dwight even more now, because Dwight
captured Glenn and Negan killed him (although my money's on
Eugene). If it was Glenn, Daryl will blame himself for Glenn
getting caught in the first place; Maggie will probably blame
him, too.
When Daryl recovers, he'll discover that Carol has gone and
he'll be devastated. He'll drop his plans to hunt Dwight and
start searching for Carol. (Daryl will heal before Carol does).
Scouts for the Saviors discover the Kingdom, but Negan wants to
break Rick's will completely before moving on a new target.
Dwight sees this as a chance to impress the Saviors (possible
coup?) and plans to raid the Kingdom with his own group. Daryl
hears rumors about some "medieval town" and leaves to see if
Carol is there.
By this time, Carol has recovered from her wounds. With the
Saviors threatening her new community, she's prepared to kill,
but when its the only option (Morgan has convinced her there
were options to killing Karen, David, Lizzie, and the Alpha
Wolf). Carol has also become a respected, but reserved member
of the community, led by Ezekiel.
Dwight's crew attack the Kingdom. Carol is the one of the few
with a firearm and she kills several Saviors. Daryl, on his
motorcycle, hears the gunfire, and roars ahead.
Inside the Kingdom, Dwight wounds Morgan. Carol tries to
protect Morgan but is quickly overpowered by Dwight. Dwight is
about to deliver the coup de grace when he senses someone is
behind him. Dwight spins around and is struck by an arrow
(season six episode "East"). Dwight sees Daryl was the one who
shot him and dies.
Daryl helps Morgan to his feet when he realizes the woman Dwight
tried to kill is Carol. The two of them embrace and burst into
tears.
That night, Ezekiel gives Daryl the chance to join the Kingdom.
Believing he no longer has a place with the group back in
Alexandria, Daryl accepts. Carol leads Daryl to his assigned
home, and it turns out it's hers. Daryl and Carol spend the
night talking about how their past, their mistakes, and their
future. More importantly, they admit they love each other and
kiss.
Caryl finally becomes official.

Oh god I would die if something like this were to happen. You
should be writing the episodes seriously. You do a much better
job. I hope we get Caryl in season 7.
