Season 7 Discussion Thread

The season 6 finale kinda left us high and dry, but what could
season 7 possibly have in store for us? What's going to happen
now that Rick has seen just how many people Negan has?
With Denise gone, Daryl is going to have to go to the hilltop
like Maggie to see their doctor unless Rosita steps up and takes
Denise's place.
Carol and Morgan have been taken to the kingdom where they will
meet King Ezekiel and probably be the ones to introduce Rick and
the others to the new community.
As much as I detest to say it, there's going to be a lot to look
forward to in season 7.
And of course I still believe that Caryl is end game =]

I like the idea of Carol and Daryl in the Kingdom, recuperating
and finally admitting how they feel to each other.
Rick's confidence will be crushed like the head of Lucille's
victim. Michonne probably steps up as the leader. Carl will be
disgusted with his dad again for doing nothing while Negan
bludgeoned their friend (whomever that might be).
Maggie likely loses the baby; her illness, and the trauma of
watching what Negan did, signals a miscarriage.
If Glenn survived (they love giving him those miraculous
escapes), his hope will be shattered. Maybe Glenn goes back to
scavenging and taking bigger risks.

I think even though Rick's confidence is shattered he's still
not going to back down but instead will do what he does in the
comic around this point and give off that impression that he's
given up and just given in when really he's secretly plotting
his revenge against Negan.
Rick won't be able to fight Negan and the saviors alone so I'm
sure hes going to get help from the hilltop and then when he's
introduced to the kingdom, they'll be on board as well. All
three communities will come together to fight back.
I also hope Maggie doesn't lose the baby, that would be awful.
And if Glenn still survived hopefully he steps up and takes a
bigger role. I also hope that Eugene survived because he's
definitely got a lot of potential and to kill him off would be a
grave mistake.
I'm also expecting to see this ongoing feud between Daryl and
Dwight, especially now since Dwight has Daryl's crossbow again.

So do I, but I wonder if Negan ordered the Saviors to leave the
group's weapons after the killing. They'd need to continue on
to the Hilltop, and they can't do that if they run into walkers
unarmed.
The Daryl vs. Dwight subplot was one of the infuriating bits of
season 6. Daryl's a tracker, but he walks into a trap like a
newbie? Bullshit! >:(

I agree, it was as though the writers completely forgot that
Daryl was a tracker and could sense shit like this before it
happened. If anything Daryl should've been the one to kidnap
Dwight. I think that would've made for a better story. Kidnap
him and bring him back to Alexandria as a prisoner and
interrogate him for answers.

Daryl should've gone after—and saved—Carol.
Gimple deliberately ignored their history so Daryl could be a
candidate for Lucille. >:(

He sure did and all because he needed to use Carol to further
Morgan's story. So the only way to get Morgan to kill again was
to put Carol in danger? Oh please. As much as I liked the scenes
with Carol and Morgan in this episode deep down inside I was
rolling my eyes.
and you're right Gimple deliberately wanted Daryl to be a
candidate for Lucille, and just in order to upset/worry/please
fans.

I remember one fan on the other forum speculated that Daryl
would move to the Kingdom and his personality earns him
comparisons to a tiger.
