       Carol's banishment
       By: Ickray_Imesgray Date: March 4, 2016, 11:08 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Did Rick make the right call sending Carol away? Do you think he
even had a right to do that? She admitted to killing Karen and
David in order to protect the group. Personally I don't think
Rick was in his right mind, and that's exactly why he lost his
       final fight with the Governor.
But I always thought that it was probably possible that Karen
and David were dying in their sleep as Carol killed them. So if
anything she prevented them from becoming walkers, cause I don't
think Tyreese could handle putting down walker Karen and would
       probably get bit then.

Rick banished Carol for selfish reasons, not altruistic reasons.
At first, Rick told Carol he was banishing her from the prison
to protect her from Tyreese, but when Carol stood up for
herself, Rick said he didn't want her near his children.
Carol's decision to kill Karen and David was cold, but
necessary. They were dying of the flu. There was no medicine
to help them. The risk they were spreading the flu through the
prison was too great. If Carol brought the idea up to the
council, Hershel would never had allowed it and put a guard on
       the cell block.

Right, and Carol must have assumed this is what would happen so
she just took upon herself to eliminate the threat.
I also got those selfish vibes from Rick, but I was glad when
Carol reminded him that he killed Shane cause I think by that
point Rick had pushed it so far out of his mind that he never
thought someone would bring it up again.

That's one of the reasons why I love Carol: she calls Rick out
on his bullshit. I wish Daryl would do the same. I love their
brotherhood, but brothers argue. Brothers fight. It doesn't
       mean they hate each other.

Well there's a fight coming up in 6B, looking forward to seeing
what that's all about. I bet it has something to do with Carol.
Daryl doesn't even want to bring in new people to Alexandria and
Rick does. Their views have completely swapped.

I'll bet Daryl and Rick's fight has everything to do with Carol,
because it sounds like Rick's responsible for her getting
       kidnapped.
Rick probably just wants to bring people into Alexandria,
whereas Daryl and Aaron would follow them a few days and see if
they had what it took to survive. Who wants to see a bunch of
lazy bastards sitting on the porch drinking lemonade while
everyone else is trying to rebuild the town?

True but Daryl also got a taste of the kind of people who were
out there after encountering Dwight and then later the saviors.
If anything Daryl is kind of gone back to thinking there aren't
any good people left. And while it's not completely true it's
just his way of playing it safe for now.
