       In a context of gradual deglobalization, the temptation for a
       strong disconnection is strong. But for just transitions to
       progress, we need the creation of strong regional blocs, as well
       as moving in the direction of an ecosocial State. The ecological
       and climate crisis is introducing new risks, mostly with
       irreversible damage, that affect the population unequally.

       to build a State capable of preventing it. Distribution must be
       thought of independently of growth. An ecosocial State should
       seek a social protection mechanism that is as universal as
       possible. Before guaranteeing a retirement (to those who have
       made contributions for years), we must aim for a universal
       income or basic income, to move from a compensatory State to a
       preventive State, concerned more with the needs of the people
       than with the interests of the corporations32.

       Without constant, coordinated and massive social mobilization,
       this will hardly happen. It is not just about bringing together
       climate movements or rethinking environmentalism, but also about
       integrating a multiplicity of struggles that have not always
       been connected to each other, but that in recent years tend to
       progressively adhere to the paradigm of just transitions,
       contributing to advance in its different dimensions: feminist,
       anti-racist, peasant, indigenous, animal rights, union, popular
       and solidarity economy movements, among others. Far from the
       individualistic solutions that emerge from the "Decarbonization
       Consensus", this allows us to understand that the solution is
       collective; which is not only technical, but deeply political.
