I came here to say I wont join the race because of F1. Didn't
expect them to be on at the same time.
Then I read the race is postponed.
       Good.

Good luck with the race today. I have to work today and won't
be able to fit the race in my schedule. See you in a couple of
       weeks.

The race was changed from a 60 minute endurance race to 2
separate 12 lap races. 4 racers showed up for the race and 3
actually participated. For those of us who stuck it out the
racing was fun and the group was competitive. Both Tig and Proto
took 1st places in the races. I was 2nd in the first race due to
a mistake by Tig on the last lap, and last in the second race.
       (Still a podium though :)).
It seems then last race in this series will be shuttled and we
will determine where to go from here. See other posts for
       further details.

It's a shame this cup failed because it had potential. Racing
was pretty close and tracks were interesting. Maybe it was a
mistake not having points races. People get more motivated when
       there are points in stake.

I honestly think the problems are with advertisement and the
online interface for the visiting prospect. If the members who
have come through the fields were to stick around for every race
we would have much fuller grids. So the question is, how do we
retain the racers who give us a week or so to try us out?
I think the answer is to give them a compelling reason to log
into the site every day or so. A good looking interface, a busy
and active forum, and content which is served up frequently
enough to engage the membership. As the league membership grows
the reasons to visit the forums and site will grow
exponentially. Especially if we have active members making posts
       and being engaged.
This is something to shoot for and hopefully we can realize the
vision of full grids in both rF2 and PCars.
