I had seen some cheating in rF2, but I don't think it was as
easy as editing a .txt file! Wow, that's bad. In other genres
of onlne gaming they have anti-cheat services in place and no
non-simracing game would EVER come to market without something.
For some reason sim racing game companies don't think sim racing
games need cheat protection. They are wrong. Sim racers are
every bit as bad about cheating as FPS players, I think it's
time for sim racing game devs to wake the fuck up

Ill check the server tomorrow if I get a chance. It my wife's
and mine 15 year anniversary. Probably won't be near the server
much today.

I tested in server last night. The real rear mirror is quite
good in Lotus in-car-driving positions. So two mirrors appear (
one forced ) is too many on the screen :) If it is possible you
have better to increase the practice time rather than 30 min.
which is short for drivers who test in the server.
I have tested Lotus GTC first time and really liked it. Car is
behaving well even on hard with full tank.

I believe I turned off the forced mirror. You may need to turn
it off in your settings. I'll change the practice time to 60
minutes if that suits us better.

Noticed that Wayne still isn't in the list :p
I got 1:42.2 without assists, but it's still 0,8 secs off my PB
with low ABS. I can also be more consistent with low ABS. So I'm
wondering do I keep this default assist (corresponding what this
car has irl?) or should I go with no assists at all... I want to
be competitive which isn't possible if all will keep default
assists and I don't.
Another thing that bothers me is that I don't have app that
shows me my tyre condition (like trackmap in rf2)

He's been added. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

I use the danny guisa app and it's pretty good, that or you can
use the ovi info pack which also has tire temps. It's basically
impossible to cook the mediums; I can't say the same about softs
because I haven't ran a stint on them yet but the meds will go a
LONG distance.
my recommendation is to practice with settings the same as
server settings.
won't make carb day, so if the grid is settled by carb day i'm
screwed

Carb day has nothing to do with the race, it's an optional
practice day. You're all set. I probably will miss carb day
too, but I will be on practicing Monday and\or Tuesday if I
can't make any time on Sunday. Most likely Monday before noon.
