Version 1.5 and tire model 7

Anyone else try AC since the last update? It is driving very
       well imo.
I find the sense of immersion with the Lotus 25 absolutely
       amazing.
The way everything comes together is top notch; graphics,
       sounds, physics and ffb.
As a side note in comparison with the Historic F3s in rF2. The
ISI tires have much greater grip. So much more so that they
turn significantly faster laptimes with about 1/2 the power and
       correspondingly lower top speeds.

Since reinstalling my OS I have not yet reinstalled AC. Frankly
for me it wasnt the Sim I was hoping for. It is a fun game to
drive asnd the online community is more robust for pickup games.
However, the DLC that they released left me feeling a bit
underwhelmed and I simply did not feel compelled to continue
playing it. I enjoy racing Race cars. Street cars and exotics
dont have much pull for me with respect to driving them in a
game. But to each their own.

I haven't had enough time to test it yet to make a proper
judgement. And honestly I haven't driven it for a long time so I
don't exactly remember how it felt before. At least it seems to
run very smooth on my new pc.
Weight sensation in AC makes the cars feel kinda wobbly (if
that's a word). I guess it's just something to get used to. I
still prefer braking in rf2. Also rf2 has better feel to
sliding. Also I don't somehow like gear shifting in AC, but it
might be because I'm not used to proper drivetrain model.
Haven't checked the state of AC multiplayer, but reading the
forums I kinda get the sense that the game interests more
cruisers than racers. I hope I'm wrong. I could have time for
two sims (actually I also have Dirt rally and Automobilista)

I always thought AC drove great and that the physics were
terrific. The problem for me was always a) connectivity and b)
the way the weekend and races are set up (being able to join a
       race mid-session and everything).
I haven't played in months though. There's a new system that
works as an app that is supposed to rank players
  HTML http://www.virtualr.net/sim-racing-system-ac-now-available
       maybe
this will turn things around for AC?

That same system has also been implemented in rfactor 2. I just
don't know how much activity it got.
