S397 January Roadmap out.

Studio 397's January roadmap update is out.

They cover how the DX11 update is coming as well as show some
screenshots of the new DX11 results. They also show screenshots
of the New UI, or at least a version of it. Also updates of the
GT500 are incoming very soon.
Other things are addressed like single player championship
modes.

Going by the DX11 screenshots - looks like more of a blue hue to
go with deeper shadows.

I didn't like the blandness before (and that's showing their
sharpest-looking content), and I don't like the saturation now,
haha. :D
Still waiting for better announcements although the progress on
single-player option is a good sign. Again disappointed about
abandoned announced licenses in favor of GT and recent stuff.

Come on Debbie Downer!! You are way too picky...haha, those new
screens look really good to me. Although I am baffled as to why
the hell they would release ANOTHER Vette, especially one that
is already in the game, These are all huge steps forward.
Studio 397 are doing everything they said they would and more.
The 2 cars they put out were largely excellent (Yeah I know the
gt500 has been in the pipes for 2 years...but S397 ACTUALLY
delivered it.)
I understand the angle of those who have had rf2 for a long time
such as youself, but these guys have literally just taken over
and I think they deserve nothing but kudos and credit.

I remember a post where someone (not a Dev if I recall
correctly) stated that rF2 was not a Screenshot generator. I
agree with that. But, the new screenshots look a lot better and
less drab than vanilla rF2.
I am very upbeat about the future of rF2 under S397. They have
already delivered more information about what they are doing
than ISI ever did. But they also have reportedly more developers
working on rF2 than ISI ever did as well.

Hahahahaha, that was warranted :P. Marcel knows my
point-of-view on everything, haha.
Any work is progress, so for now they just messed with exposure
so it's back to rF1 colors, but maybe it will be further refined
so it looks somewhere near realistic. rF2 can have pCARS visuals
if they want ;). The GT500 has very bland visuals and uninspired
cockpit, I have no immersion. There's no good looking dynamic
lighting, the cube mapping is meh, etc.
The Radical may be the first S397 content built entirely under
their ownership. I'm sure the Corvette will be, unless they
contract it out. I hope they do or have an artist different than
Lo... there are so many qualified guys out there who'd do a
better job. EITHER way, Studios 397 is putting a lot more effort
than ISI did and that is the good news! Besides single-player
championship.
