VRC is proud to announce the VRC Winter 2020 Wednesday V8
Supercars Series.
The series will use the FVR V8Supercars 2018 Mod. This Mod can
be subscribed to on the Steam Workshop here:

This series will consist of 2 Pre-Season Races and 10 Points
races. 8 out of 10 races will count towards series points so you
can have a couple off weeks if life surprises. Each event will
get a separate event thread at VRC business events board.
Race Weekend will start at 9:00 PM ET (6:00 PM Pacific)
Wednesday. 2 races will be run. The first will follow the
qualification grid and the second will have a reversed grid
order. Races will be 25 minutes in length. We will have a
formation Lap with Standing Start. There will be no mandatory
Pit Stop.
Allowed assists will be Auto Clutch only.

Points
The top 20 drivers will get points. It is as follows:
26, 23, 21, 19, 17, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3,
2, 1
2 points for the pole
1 point for starting a race
1 point for finishing race while completing at least 75% of
leader laps.

2. Jan 29 - Adelaide Street
3. Feb 05 - Lester
4. Feb 12 - Road America
5. Feb 19 - Bathurst
6. Feb 26 - Symmons Plains
7. Mar 04 - Red Bull Ring
8. Mar 11 - Magnificent Park
9. Mar 18 - Barber
10. Mar 25 - Sebring
In order to ensure the safe and consistent racing our members
have come to expect, registration for the series will be
mandatory.
Please announce your intent to race in this series in this post.
You will then be considered "registered" for the series. You
need only register once for the entire series.
Registrants must use their real name. We race against people,
not their online egos. On the race server real names are
enforced. Here are the instructions to change your name in rF2

Upon completion of registration on the forums drivers can
announce their intent to participate in the series in this post.
Your name will be added to the registrants list. There is no
minimum amount of races you need to participate in if you sign
up, but we would like to know if you can only do few races.

Honestly, I'm not sure what the difference is between the cars.
I am sure there is some in the handling, but I did not really do
any comparative testing.

I can't race this series because of bowling but another league
is using the same cars and I have a question about skinning
them. (No reply yet from the other league) Is there a way to
get the driver names, number and other stuff off the side
windows on these things? Got one skinned but don't like having
Couthard's name and number showing. Thanks.
