I feel like a kid who got up too early on Christmas morning and
is waiting for his parents to get up so he can open presents!
I don't see anything on Steam yet.
By the way, another plug for VR racing. With VR, not only am I
looking forward to the new car's performance and exteriors, but
       the INTERIORS are exciting too!

Tried the BMW for some 50 laps.
Drives good, sound is fine just like in onboard videos on
       youtube.
BoP seems to be working, I did basically the same time as with
the corvette on same track conditions.
Have not tried the other cars yet, except a very short run with
       the Porsche.

My first thoughts are the 911 is the fastest car, but has some
handling issues that will catch people out. The Audi and McLaren
are both fast on the default setups and the BMW is the worst of
the four. It wants to rotate around its engine block too much.
I'd suggest each will suit a different driving style. Can't wait
       for the Aston.

I'm really digging the Audi. Seems very well planted. No drama.
Not so with Princess 911. That back end has a mind of its own!
(well, let's just say lifting off over a crest is not as
       forgiving as other cars)
I did notice that the 911 default traction control setting is 1.
I would have thought that of any of these cars, THIS is the one
that should have had a higher default setting, not lower.
Looking forward to the Aston Martin. I remember the last one had
the grunt of the Corvette but seemed to handle better. That
       might be for me.
So maybe AM, but probably R8.
Like David said, different driving styles will suit different
cars. This will make the series very interesting.
I notice none of these cars have rear view cameras. Just
mirrors. Is the camera just a GTE thing?

Tried the Porsche for 30 laps.
Maybe it is slightly faster than the BMW, but only 0.1-0.2 s for
       me.
But it certainly has higher topspeed and the best traction of
       all cars I tried.
And Ibby is right, is is very edgy in fast corners, had my
problems in the fast triple left in middle sector in Istanbul.
The sound is perfect, right now I would pick the Porsche for the
       season.
The new Aston Martin has also a turbo engine, very sad about
this, because the old GT3 version had a nice V12 engine.
I will give this one a try once it is released.
Dont know about the McLaren 720S, at least I have to test it,
but I could not get anything out of the old 650S.

After 2 hours of trying i finally got the game booted up and did
some testing with the 4 new cars. Here are my impressions:
Porsche: The best IMO. Feels alive and the feedback is
excellent. With the default setup there was a lot of understeer
under throttle, but small changes to the setup cured it. I also
really like how the car feels under braking.
Audi: Turns in sharply and feels pretty good. For the first few
laps the steering had some similarities to the Mercedes. It's
hard to describe, but it feels a bit like driving a boat. After
a few laps I couldn't feel it anymore though. I think that this
is the 2nd best car of the 4 after the Porsche.
BMW: Pretty neutral, but feels heavy. I had some struggles in
corner entries, but most likely it's driver error.
McLaren: Feels like the old McLaren. Doesn't really fit my
driving style and is pretty unpredictable.
I didn't do any time comparison, but I do think that the BoP is
       on point.

Got the new pack a bit ago but now when I try to start the game
I get a red message box that says:
       "FAILED:Porsche_911_GT3_R_2018v101
Porsche_911_GT3_R_2018v101 requires unknown base mod to be
       installed"
And, of course I can't get on the server, I guess because of
that. Where do I go from here? With this being Christmas eve
and tomorrow being Christmas I'm not in a big rush for a
       response.
       Thanks and Merry Christmas
       Tom

Tom, just unsubscribe from the item in the inventory and then
re-subscribe. From there, start the game and it should
re-download and install the car. I had a similar issue with the
       Audi.
