       Slow car enthusiast?
By: Azar Alamouri Date: November 27, 2018, 8:56 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
       Hello,
       My name is Azar.
I have a year of experience in sim racing.
A lifetime passion in cars and driving.
       Fast in real life.
I like older, historical, vintage, at least 90's cars in sims
       with no assists.
I simrace as a cheap and safe substitute to real racing, so I
accept nothing but the closest to reality experience.
rF2 gives me that real feel.
Older than some of you which makes sim racing reactions not that
fast after finishing hours of working in my daily job, but
advantage is being used to drive for hours and days (like
endurance in sims) because I some times do it in real life as I
used to live and drive in huge countries.
       Best regards,
       Azar Alamouri

Thanks for sharing some of your background and interests with us
       Azar.
We tend to allow the assist the cars use in real life. Sometimes
the challenge is to keep the car on track, sometimes it's the
competition and dancing on the limit ;) Both can be fun imo.
Here in VRC we mostly drive cars that offer a chance to close
racing. The reason being, there are different skill levels and I
think majority find it most fun to be able to race wheel to
wheel or otherwise close throughout the race with other drivers.
Driving mostly alone on a track trying to tame a car can be fun
too imo, but I personally prefer close racing that GT racing
       usually offers.
We hope to see you on track!
       -Matt

       Hello,
       Thanks for the reply!
The VRC website is great but can someone help me join the
Discord channel as I feel disconnected here and I am afraid to
       miss the pre-race today.
