VRC Servers

I have put up two servers under the VRC league name. They have
liveracers and are being monitored. They include the LMP content
that likely will be used for the mini-series. The only real
changes in the servers are the fact that they are running on
Steam based Dedicated servers instead of the lite build of
Non-Steam servers. Also I have upped the damage to 75% so you
guys can start figuring out how you feel about that level of
damage.
I was made aware that Tom could not get into the servers.
However, no one else seems to be having any issues so we will
continue to work with Tom to get him on the server in a
reasonable time frame.Sorry Tom.

No problems getting into the servers for me.
Btw, can you disable AI times from liveracers somehow? During
season 4 in VSCR we didn't have them showing anymore which was
good.

That is the exact same issue I have. I tried disabling my
firewall, and also did the "verify integrity" on Steam. Still no
luck. I will try again tomorrow and I will post if I find the
solution.

ok... it was pissing me off so i tried something different. Here
is what happened:
1. I tried joining the server though Steam. I initially had a
lot more success and at least this time it told me which
component I needed. It was the Acura LMP... which I assume is
the one from the Steam workshop (version 2.1)
so...
I delete the Lmp, unsubscibe to it in the workshop, re-subscribe
and install... then join again in the steam servers. to my
disgust, i still get the missing component message and it faols
to download it. The odd part is that it says it is version
5.2??? The Apex mod listed is the correct version (.935) but the
acura is way off.

I will be looking into making some changes to the way the
packages folder is stored on the server. In-built 1080 there was
an issue that was causing this problem and it involved where the
RF mods were being kept. However it's almost 4 a.m. now and I'm
on my way home from work. I think I need to go to sleep

HERE IS HOW I GOT IT TO WORK.
The Steam version of the Acura is NOT up to date. I am not sure
why the "Getmod" didn't work, but I went to
HTML http://simhqmotorsports.net/downloads/
and downloaded it. I suggest you try to enter the server via
steam servers and not the rf2 launcher.

I have taken down the VRC Mixed Class server as it seems the
content on that server is no longer the desired content for
mixed class. That leaves the Enduracers Server up. Let me know
if there is other content you wish to have put up.

Maybe WTCC, BTCC or Group C?
If you choose BTCC then we could but smaller tracks into
rotation like Croft, Mores and Putnam Park.
Speaking of rotation, could you but some other tracks too than
Sebring to the rotation... could rotate 4 tracks from the voting
for example...
